Dear Friends: This website (a blog for Katy) has been set up so that you can receive updates regarding Katy’s situation. You can go to the blog for updates and then you can leave your encouragements, your prayers and affirmations for Katy, her family and friends to see. Thanks for praying. ER Visit Report

Thanks to all of you who checked in today. Your faithfulness to Katy’s needs is a great ministry to her and all of us.

It has been a long day, Katy just arriving home right now (5:00 pm Phoenix time).

They did an ultra-sound to check for blood clots and it was negative. They also checked her blood and it was fine. She has received stronger pain medication.

Tonight, she will take her second dose of Temedor and she will have three more doses the following three nights.

It could be that this terrible pain is caused by the chemo, possibly it is leg cramps. Though that is unlikely.

Pray that the Temedor can be tolerated with out this pain.

You are dear to all of us. Thank you for your love.

Oh, gosh, Reels and Katy,

Anne told me about the ER visit today, so I'm just now reading about it. I'm so sorry Katy has had more pain and discomfort but glad that nothing dramatic popped up on the tests. We'll just hold down this fort with prayers!

We love you all and miss you. Wish we could be there with you.

Thank you so much for the update. I am writing this morning; didn't look at the blog again last night but have had you all in my mind and heart throughout the evening and this past night during the small hours... I echo the other comments about being thankful that nothing complicated showed up. God told me two days ago to pray against the nausea (I had asked him how in particular to pray that day); now I guess we get to tackle your legs, Katy!!!

We love you all.

Love, Miriam

Dear Reels,
Just want you to know we are praying for all of you. We of course pray for Katy mostly but also for all of your strength and comfort in the midst of this challenging time. We weren't able to go to the service on the 27th, but joined in prayer officially at home. Your Tab family, and more importantly, your huge family in Christ, stands with you in this. Know that and draw strength from it. Know that Jesus stands with you non-stop and never gets distracted or busy or tired. We send our love,
Mary Anne for all the Emchs
