Lamentations 3:22-24
It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed,
because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning:
great is thy faithfulness.
The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.

Today's update ....

First, your praying is felt here, as hearts are finding strength somehow, in the midst of it all. Katy made it through the surgery, and the surgeon said he was very pleased with Katy's rapid recovery and how well it went.

There was some removal of the designated tumor.

Monday is an important day for prayer as the tumor board will meet to take a look at the existing tumors and decide the course of action. Please pray for supernatural intervention for these specialists.

The current tumors appear to be very aggressive, however, the most recent pathology is not in yet.

Thank you for being led by the Spirit of God in your praying as you intercede for Katy. Call out to our mighty God whose lovingkindnesses never cease and whose compassions never fail. And expect them to be new this morning, and agree with all of us here, how great is His faithfulness. (Oh Lord, we do expect this for Katy, her family and all of us, her loved ones.)

Dearest Katy and all the Reels, you have been in our prayers and thoughts all day long. I will call out the "prayer troops" on your behalf again. The victory is the Lord's; we're praying for strength for you for the battle. May you be renewed, Katy. Bless You, o Lord, for Your faithfulness. Much love, vicki king

Dear Katy and Family;

"(He) is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. "
Ephesians 3:20

Our requests, our thoughts, and our prayers are too small; and our expectations are too low. There is no limit to what we May ask and expect of our glorious almighty God. Because of the love that God has for us; because of the love that Jesus has for us, there is no limit to what He would do for us. His love for us enabled Him to give His life for our sins and with that same love He is not only "able to do" but is more than willing to do the things that we seek Him for. There aren't any limits on God’s abilities, there are just limits on our requests to Him. God has made us worthy, through His Son Jesus, to come before Him with any request and He has the power to meet each and every one of them. God can and will do. Trust God.

Dear Katy, Patty, Rick, and the Family,

"Surely he has borne our infirmities and carried our diseases; yet we accounted him stricken, struck down by God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the punishment that made us whole, and by his bruises we are healed."
Isaiah 53: 4-5

Lots of love and prayers, Nancy

Katy and all of the Reel clan: Continue to hope in the Lord, and know that HE has you in the palm of HIS hands, and there is no safer place to be. We will continue to pray for God's wisdom to be applied through your caregivers, (for their ideas and plans to be guided by the Greatest Physician of all times), and for each of you to have great peace, good rest, and blessed times together of joy and laughter in the midst of such hardship. Know that you are loved, prayed over and placed before the Heavenly Father night and day!
'Love you all, Sherry

Dear Katy, my little sister (even though we've never met), I am so sorry that you are going through this - but I am praying for strength and peace for you and your family and wisdom for your doctors and medical team. You must surely be aware that your illness, as devestating and unfortunate and heart-breaking as it is and has been, has served as a ministry to many hundreds of people. I don't know you, but I have been strengthened and encouraged by your faith. Keep up the good fight. Love, Joyce in Indiana

Dear Katy and all of the Reel family,

I just wanted you to know that we are thinking of you every day. We check your website often and admire your strength and your faith. Each and every time I pray, a prayer of hope for you and your family is one of the first things that I pray for.

You will continue to be in our thoughts, our hopes, and our prayers.

Love, Sarah, Andy, and Grant Hodson

Dear Katy,
I'm here at work, and thinking of you as the afternoon winds on. May God keep your heart in perfect peace this day (and the hearts of your family). Am praying that the doctors are given great wisdom as they consider how to proceed with your treatment. You are in my prayers.
Love, Miriam
PS Ahh, I can get on the blog here at work; I haven't been able to at home for several days, so the problem is with my home computer. I've been thinking of you and praying for you, even if I haven't been able to blog.

Dear Katy and family....once again, people from all over the world know about your latest trials and we are all praying for you and for your complete recovery. It was such a blessing to have you visit us for the dessert at Tab recently. You all set such an example for all of us in demonstrating faith in God's plan and how the love of family and friends is so powerful. May God continue to bless all of you and give you the comfort you are seeking in this time of surgeries, treatment plans, and uncertainties. We love you all and will raise you up each day in prayer. Fondly, Betsy B.
