to the Reel family; Although we only knew Katy breifly through her friendship with the Hunt family, we know of her Kingdom work and her incredible strength and faith. As many have already expressed, her short life on this earth has touched more lives than any of us can imagine or ever know..and certainly serves as a witness and a call to all of us to step up to our own personal divine purpose. She was blessed to realize hers at such a young age, and more importantly this world was blessed by her work and her faith. Her impact will cross generations and that is an incredible testimony to our Lord and Savior.
As a parent, none of us can imagine the sense of loss your family must feel and for that we keep you in our prayers. May you truly find the peace of God through your grief and a peace about God's timing. In the last few years we have had to turn to God for peace through storms and accept His sovereignty. Faith in His greater plan isn't always easy to understand or accept. We know that heaven is a more beautiful place with His angel Katy there.
The Lord is your Shepard...and know that He will walk with you in the coming days. God bless, the McDaniel family

Dearest Reel Family,
How proud you must be to have had such a kind, caring, loving, beautiful, intelligent, and compassionate daughter. All those people she touched! Although her time here on Earth was short, she accomplished so much by doing the Lord's work and by being such a faithful servant of God. She didn't just "talk the talk" but she honestly "walked the walk." What an honorable witness she was!
I'm praying that God will grant you strength and comfort during this very difficult time. I felt so blessed to have known your daughter, Katy. She will always be in my thoughts and will always serve as a constant reminder to me of what an example of Christian living truly is. I have her picture by my desk and keep it there for inspiration and encouragement. God bless all of you and thank you for sharing your most precious gift-the gift of your sweet Katy.

Dear Family:

As I looked through the photos and watched the slide show yesterday, I kept being reminded of the almost golden glow that I always felt was around Katy. And I was always so grateful that Michelle and Katy's friendship, although often long distance, endured.
The strength of your family bond, along with the arms of the Lord are going to sustain you. And, although all of us who pray for may not be with you physically, we have become a network which will support you with our prayers and thoughts.
God bless all of you.
